well, it's been a little over six months and i guess i should sort of stop and take in all that i've been through, maybe analyze it or something.
so anyway, on november 27, 2006 i had lap rny. on december 23, 2006 i had a perforated ulcer and had emergency surgery and was hospitalized for 13 days. then on march 2, 2007 i had a stricture dilated and THEN on may 30, 2007 i had my gall bladder removed and a hernia repaired. i've lost 90 pounds, 17.6 bmi points and 63.5 inches. i've also lost quite a lot of friends during this time. some of these losses i kind of knew would happen. others... lets just say that i'm still mystified by.
i've dropped several sizes and i feel better able to do some of the things that i couldn't do six months ago. i'm not finished yet, not by a long shot, but i'm very definitely on my way. according to my original goal i have about 41 pounds left to lose. (that's to actually be what it says on my driver's license.) but i'm thinking about lowering my final goal to be maybe 15-16 pounds less than that. idk, we'll see i guess.
i'm having a real hard time finding things to wear right now because i'm just dropping sizes so quickly. i have tons and tons of clothes (packrat that i am...) but none of them fit me! it's crazy weird. oh yeah, and some of the clothes that my grandmother made for me before i got pregnant with kensie, and some of the work clothes i used to wear back then, are finally beginning to fit me again. (yeah!!! i KNEW this day would finally come!!!) they don't look quite right just yet but they're getting there for sure :~)
so anywho, here i am, not doing much of anything because, well, i CAN'T do much of anything right now. i want to get up and start cleaning and putting clothes away and gathering dirty clothes to be washed tomorrow but i just can't seem to make myself. i have a plan for how to make it all come together but unfortunately for me, that requires LIFTING things that weigh more than 10 pounds. it'll be another 5 1/2 weeks before i'm allowed to do that so for now, i kinda have to rely on katie for stuff like that. which makes me feel like a lazy piece of shit if i do say so myself. so yeah, here's the pics and measurements again in case anybody cared...
